What's TAFT?
TAFT is the major Trans Atlantic Fisheries Technology Conference focusing on fish and seafood technology and is a joint event gathering the Atlantic Fisheries Technology Conference (AFTC) and West European Fish Technologists Association (WEFTA) meeting. This is the 3rd TAFT Conference, it is held every three years. 1st TAFT was in Iceland in 2003, 2nd TAFT was in Quebec in 2006.
The previous TAFT conferences were great successes gathering representatives from universities, research centres, the seafood industry and policy makers. At this year's conference we will present to you top key note speakers and only high quality oral presentations with the most recent research results in the seafood technology area.
Several employees from Matís will attend the conference and, furthermore, Anna K Danielsdottir is part of the TAFT scientific committee. Anna can provide additional information (anna.k.danielsdottir()matis.is).
