One of the aims of the conference was to put innovation in the Nordic marine sector in the spotlight and create a forum for open discussions on how to proceed in order to enhance innovation and Nordic cooperation within the sector.
A report has been published that gives an overview of the Nordic marine innovation systems and some ideas on what to focus on. The report can be downloaded here: http://www.nordicinnovation.net/prosjekt.cfm?id=1-4415-309. Presentations and discussions at the conference gave valuable inputs to the report. The Nordic organisers of the conference are now considering the next steps on how to realise some of the recommendations.
