Improved fertilization of halibut eggs

The main goal of this project is to define controllable parameters that influence the quality of halibut eggs which often is defined by their fertilization rate. Individual female fish will be monitored over the spawning period and eggs collected for examination on their quality and bacterial community structure. At the same time various fertilization methods will be tested and the effect on the fertilization rate examined.
